Utah Professor Killed after Falling off Campus Shuttle
A professor at the University of Utah was killed Thursday after falling off of a moving shuttle.
The unidentified 63-year-old woman tumbled through the back doors of the campus shuttle while it was making a left turn. She hit her head on the concrete and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
The professor was unable to survive her injuries and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The shuttle is currently impounded. Police are conducting an investigation into the accident and why the doors had opened.
