Woman and Grandson Killed in Three-Vehicle Crash

A woman and her young grandson were killed in a three-vehicle accident on the Bull River Bridge Monday afternoon.

Tina L. Washington, 50, and her grandson Alex Coleman, 11, both of Savannah, were traveling in a Chrysler Concorde westbound on Bull River Bridge when they crossed into the eastbound lanes of traffic and were involved in a collision with a Dodge Caravan and a Ford Econoline van. All three vehicles caught on fire.
Washington and Coleman were both killed in the accident.

The occupants of the other two vehicles were not injured.
