Woman Killed in Snowmobile Accident

A woman was killed in a snowmobile accident in Williamstown, Massachusetts Saturday. Rosanna Neri, 39, of Glastonbury, England, was driving a snowmobile with her 7-year-old daughter on Greylock Mountain in Williamstown around 1 p.m. on Saturday when a fatal collision occurred between two snowmobiles, said Catherine Williams, a spokeswoman for the Massachusetts Environmental Police. Neri was taken to the Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield where she was pronounced dead. Her daughter was also taken to the medical center with minor injures and was released, stated Williams. Police are still unsure what led up to the accident. The accident remains under investigation, Williams said.
