Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident

A woman suffered fatal injuries in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday evening in Greenwood, South Carolina.

Catherine B. Legros 49 of Greenwood, was driving a Ford Crown Victoria when she was hit by a well drilling 18 wheeler on Bypass 25NE in Greenwood as she was pulling out of Sai Food Store at about 7:09 p.m. Tuesday.

Legros, who was temporarily trapped inside the vehicle, was taken to Self Regional Healthcare where she was pronounced dead at 8:16 p.m. from massive chest and body injuries.
